Spark Bagel is looking for a few folks to join us this summer. We have been running a wholesale and farmers market business for 5 years and opened up our brick and mortar bagel shop in Spring 2025. We focus on local ingredients, grains, and seasonal produce in our production. We put a lot of care into our food and customer experience and expect our employees to as well.
We are looking to fill line cook and prep cook positions. One person could fill the roll of full time prep/line cook 4-5 days per week

Ideal candidates are:
- Team players
- Reliable and show up to work on time
- Have prior relevant experience
- Able to follow directions, multitask, and communicate well with teammates and guests
Line Cook: $22-$26 + per hour after tips depending on experience
1-2 years line cook experience required! Not much actually cooking taking place besides eggs, but must be able to run a line solo making bagel sandwiches
Quality control of ingredients and final products
Attention to detail and finesse with making and plating of food
Food safety knowledge
Not afraid of washing dishes
Ability to work quickly and cleanly under the pressure of a fast paced environment
Weekend availability a MUST
Shifts available Thurs-Sun 7a-2p
Part time/Full Time 3-5 days/week
Prep Cook/Baker: $20-$24 + per hour after tips depending on experience
Prior Experience working in a kitchen required
Experience with naturally leavened dough a huge plus including mixing and shaping
Maintain a clean organized work space
Ability to multitask
Not afraid of doing dishes
Weekend availability a MUST
Shifts available Wed-Sun 7a-2p
Part time 2-4 days/week
